Microdent receives a grant from the C.D.T.I.

On October 21, 2020, Microdent was awarded a grant by the C.D.T.I.

As established in the Resolution of Granting of aid of the 2019 call published in the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, Microdent Implant System receives a grant for the development of the project "Development of new designs and advanced antibacterial surface treatments for the improvement of the biomechanical response of dental implants (Bioimplant)".

The objectives of the projects are the development of a new external geometry of dental implant, the development of a new surface finish based on a combined process of shot blasting and acid etching, the development and fine-tuning of a revolutionary effective surface bactericidal treatment, the implementation of new ß-type totanium alloys and mechanical validation,  biological and pre-industrial new designs, materials and surface treatments.

All this in order to introduce into the market a new range of implants, available to any professional, which allows to optimize the biomechanical response, improve osseointegration, eradicate the appearance of peri-implantitis and mitigate bone resorption.
